butchers’ Q Guild since 1997.

This is a national body of just over 150 elite butchers and independent meat retailers committed to offering top quality meat and meat -related products, with customer service to match. High standards of hygiene food safety and risk assessment are essential criteria for membership with independent inspections carried out at all member shops.

Every butcher that can display the Q guild emblem in their window is someone special.

Turnbull's has developed close links with other Q Guild butchers in the North of England, reguarly meeting with fellow members to discuss latest developments in the industry and to exhange ideas concerning product innovations and best practice, which can then be introduced in their respective business for the overall benefit of the end user the, customer.
